ABOUT US - Five separate "family bubble" lodges
Woodfield True Nature Campus is dedicated to supporting families experiencing chronic illness. We offer week-long (5-night), family-centred programs that explore pathways to health, wholeness and joy in an inspiring, nature-based setting. Our program combines connecting with nature, social support and play, practices to support mind+body+spirit and time for reflection. Our goal is to strengthen family bonds, nurture greater calm, connection and optimism and provide opportunities for realizing greater family wellness.
We are launching our pilot program in the summer of 2021 at our one-of-a-kind nature campus set on 500 acres in Muskoka, Ontario. Our programs are offered at no cost to families.
Inspired by founder, Mike Bradley, governed by an experienced board of directors, and supported by a team of expert staff, volunteers and community members, Woodfield’s long-term goal is to deliver programming to at least 200 families each year. Collaborating with leaders in health, education and wellness, we hope to advance awareness and insight into the role of family-based programs in bringing more health and wellbeing to children and their families experiencing chronic illness.
